ESI: Morning Star Children’s Centre 2017

Christmas boxes for children with HIV/AIDS or parents and relatives with the disease

About this project

For the forth year running, Endemol Shine International teamed up with Morning Star Children’s Centre  to bring Christmas joy to children in South Africa who are directly affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. We assembled and gift-wrapped goodie-filled shoeboxes and shipped them off to be distributed among the children for the festive period.

Our yearly tradition, organised by Emma Knight (Sales Director), makes ESI very proud. This year 52 staff members took part in the project, and some people even donated more than 1 box.

About Morning Star: “Our focus, whilst taking care of the day-to-day activities of looking after and treating the children, is also to work towards longer-lasting solutions that will improve the mindset and living conditions of those living in the poorer communities by giving information on HIV/AIDS and equipping them with skills on how to sustain themselves in the future.”
